Dragon's Blood tree; Diksam Plateau, Socotra

'Dragon's Blood' trees are endemic to the island of Socotra (part of Yemen, off the mainland in the Arabian sea). The trees are named after the red resin which was once used by Socotrans as make-up and antiseptic.
